After the surprise victory from the first battle between Andoran and Valhalan forces another conflict was inevitable. And it eventually came, almost 6 months to the day after the first skirmish an Andoran force of almost 5000 Infantry and 2,500 Cavalry was assembled outside of the city of Baerlon and began their march down to the nation of Valhala.
The Andorans arrived to find the Valhalan forces again defending the village of Taren Ferry, however they now only numbered 1200 men. The Valhalans had made no new defenses and the ferry again had been cut down to slow the Andoran advance. The Andorans decided to attempt a river crossing and to try to force the Valhalan force into open conflict. They new that this would be a bloody route, however they also new that it would be demoralising for the defenders as well.
The next day the crossings began, on small makeshift rafts with trail ropes to use to pull other rafts across behind them. many men were knocked off a swept downstream to meet a watery grave. however before the hour was out the Andorans had a solid beach-head and were beginning to force their way inland. They captured the village of Taren Ferry before mid-day and watched as the Valhalan force, numbering perhaps 500 men now fled back south. The Andorans had suffered casualties of nearly 1,500 Infantry, no cavalry were used in the crossing though, so the full detachment of Cavalry units were brought across after the Andoran camp was set.
They camped peacefully for the night then marched south to the village of Watch Hill they were met here by the village councils and womens circles from the villages that made up the Two Rivers. The Valhalans were there to surrender, the decimation of two thirds of their male population had proved to them to be too higher cost. The nation of Valhala, and the rebellion it stood for has been reassimilated into Andor.
Overall:
All valhalan assets are siezed by Andor.
Valhala loses 600 men.
Andor loses 1,500 troops.
